![]() An online highscore table would be lovely (weekly and all time)Ĥ. ![]() Just a first thought, but I tried to think of something that would be less work than different shot types/items etc.ģ. I was wondering if there might be simple mechanics to give the player a bit of a higher skill ceiling might solve that issue, like holding right click instead to focus your shots instead of spreading them out), as that would give the player some more options to quickly adjust on the fly what he does. I love how the highest upgrade level feels and it still doesnt seem too overpowered, but it feels a bit lacking that there is nothing else on that point and the game gets "simpler" (even if its not easy). I feel like dedicating your game to one style and embracing it as theme (paper craft, utilities, geometric shapes.?) in every part would make it feel a lot more coherent.Ģ. That might seem like a small thing, but it does pull you out of it a little if you are "mankinds last hope". I was stumbling over that every time I played it, like some of the first enemies I see look like pencils, then the next look like origami creatures and then the rest would mostly just look like random geometric shapes, while the background seems like a billard table. Some seem entirely geometrical, while others give a distinct style. I feel like the art style of the ships seems a bit too different. ![]() If the mouse issue persists, maybe an intermediate solution to allow choosing play/quit with arrow keys/a/d at least as I tried that instinctively?Īs for some feedback that might or might not be valid (please do ignore anything you feel like is not in the spirit of your game!)ġ. The mouse cursor doesnt appear and I cant choose the options the same way I would do it upon starting the game. The bug still seems to persist, basically whenever a round ends, I cant start a new one as I cant choose between play/quit with mouse or keyboard. Sorry if I wasnt a bit more in depth before :) Still really, really cool and I'd recommend anyone curious to check it out.Ĭlick to shrink.Hey, the basic game is actually really fun to play, but aside from the bug there are some other minor design decisions that I was wondering about. If this game was cleared up, I'd rate it at least a 4/5, but probably need to go down to 3/5 for now. ![]() Super fun playground for a shmup and so many technical issues. Similarly, the UI is downright painful to navigate, from missing information on the UI elements, to numbers that are ridiculously small and I literally was not able to read them, leaving me to do guess work on part requirements. ![]() Now the ugly, the game crashed a lot on me, mostly in the menues, so it didnt matter much as no progress was ever lost. That is really darn cool and the game mehanics supporting your layout decisions, by hits to your ship blowing of the pieces you put there and affecting the performance is just *chefs kiss*. That particular puzzle is really cool to figure out and I am really surprised to see that a different level might actually require you to redo the layout of your ship (for speed, different weapons etc.), instead of just making your ship straight stronger. So first up the magnificient: The game allows you to build your own space ship by attaching tech pieces, boosters, weapons etc, which all effect the performance of your ship. I really, really really love the idea and will overall recommend it, but that recommendation comes with 2 huge caveats. ![]()
